CAIXA Savings account

With CAIXA International, you may also open a CAIXA Savings account and grant your and your family' future with the security, tradition and soundness of the first and largest savings account in Brazil.

Earnings

Profitability according to the Referential Rate (TR) + 0.5 % per month.

Advantages

• No Income Tax nor Tax on Financial Operations (IOF);
• Monitoring operations using the CAIXA Internet Banking;
• Refund of the Provisional Contribution on Financial Transactions (CPMF) on withdrawals made directly from the Savings Account of amounts deposited for over 90 days.

The sum of investments made during the month cannot exceed the amount of R$ 10,000.00, including the relative value of the CPMF.

Remember: the amounts invested may only be withdrawn after you re-register your e-Account with CAIXA in Brazil.

CAIXA Integrated Savings Account

Using the CAIXA International site, you may also open a CAIXA Integrated Savings account with all the advantages and earnings of a Savings account, exempt from Tax charged on Financial Operations (CPMF) upon redemption, regardless the deposit date. CPMF will only be charged in the event of withdrawal against a current account to which funds from CAIXA Integrated Savings Account have been transferred.

The CAIXA Integrated Savings Account is a savings account bound to an Investment Account.

Investments in the Integrated Savings Account will occur by means of the Investment Account to which it is bound.

The maximum investments during one month may not exceed to R$ 10,000.00.

Remember: the amounts invested may only be withdrawn after you have re-registered your e-account with the CAIXA in Brazil.
